A friend of mine found this in Kenai, Alaska. The guy selling it has medical problems so he's selling his Mopar collection. Thought I'd post if anyone is looking.

Thanks,

Russ

Man, that looks like a great deal.   I'm guessing it's hard to find a Charger in Alaska.

I live in the states but work in Alaska and when I was looking for my baby I did look around in AK. I only found one, A GL, in Fairbanks but it didn't look to be in that good of shape. It's hard to have nice vehicles in a place like AK.

there use to be a member here  from alaska  or might of been the old site with a 68 charger  :scratchchin:

Good looking car for sure, but quite a distance for anyone in the lower 48 or even lower canada to obtain.

Well not really but you can only driv them a few months out of the year, the rest of the time they sit.

If you are gonna drive it as is, sure, but for me those rims  :eek2: the interior  :eek2: they didnt even remove or mask the door strikers, so who knows what the actual quality of the car is  :Twocents:

It's one of my old chargers from the 80's I had. Not in that color combo or anything at all fyi. The car has been for sale for at least past 10 years every summer. I live 4 hours away from him, so never speak to him, good luck with sale.
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

Putrid is the best way to describe that interior.  :o

10 years!!!!  REALLY!  Why is not selling I mean seriously its a great price and YES the interior is not for everyone, but hey thats easily changeable.

The simple answer is small market. Only a portion of the AK residents are on the road system, then smaller portion driving age, then smaller still that have the cash for it.

Perhaps an even bigger reason is muscle cars just ain't as big up here. We have about 10 shows per year in the state, and I mean anything over 8-10 cars showing up... That's considered a show. One thing I REALLY miss about the lower 48 is all kinds of cars shows everywhere almost all year  :flame:
