Im wondering if anyone is towing with a 11-12 2500HD with the 6.0 Vortec?

before you ask about my GM choice, I dislike the look of the Ram and it isnt available in extended cab, just the quad-cab. I like the outward appearence of the F250 but HATE the interior. So that leaves me the GM's which Iv had in the past and was pleased with the durability although I never towed back then. Obviously the Diesel would be optimum but with the restoration in progress Im not sure I can swing the extra $$$$.

Thanks for any input!
wingless now, but still around.

No, but the only experience I've had with the 6.0 is that it's a major gas hog. Probably not much worse than the Hemi - although the newer ones are supposed to be better (can't really get much worse can it?). The last Chevy I had was a great tow vehicle. The biggest knock on them that I've heard is the rear end squatting when hooked to a trailer. I don't think you'll experience that with a heavy duty 3/4 ton though.

I'm partial to the Ford. However, I have NOT looked at the newer Chevy interiors.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
