Superbird info needed for blackout paint and inside of nose cone.

I did a few searches and could not find the info I was looking for.  Is there somewhere on this site that gives the correct color and paint used for the nosecone headlight blackouts, the headlight assembly, z brackets and inside the nosecone for a Superbird? Pictures of all of this would help also. Thanks.

Semi flat black, (and leaning more towards the flat side than gloss).   The inside of the nose should be overspray of the body color over the overspray of gray primer.   They weren't real picky.

Here's a couple of pix from Joes car thtat In restored a few yours back.If your using PCG decals ( Like I do on all my restorations)I use Marhyde satin black bumper and trim paint it matches well with Daves decals

I used SEM "Trim Black" (39143) around my PCG nose decals. It seemed to be a good match.

Organosol is what the factory used around the head lights originally.

They really used organosol? Seems like a pretty good waste of resources, i would think theyd just squirt on some of what they sprayed inside the cone???

I see that you used a pretty small area of black surrounding the door openings. Id planned on going with a larger pattern and then scuffing down the tape line so it wouldnt be visable under the decal. Could you comment on that? Ive never applied nose decals before and really have no ideas and Im really open to suggestions.....And anyothers can chime in too!!!!!!!!

The reason for small taped area is the decal is very thin and will show any big build up a paint under it and the lower outter edge of decal is only about an inch wide. I like to spray from the inside of the light opening out towards the tape,it helps keeps the hard line to a minimum and less wet sanding of the paint hard line.
