c body tie rods

Just to conferm , c body tie rods and sleaves will work on a 1970 Charger?  What year c body?  Do they help?

Yes, they fit. The taper on the end links are identical to other body styles. As far as I know, any year will work. The theory is that their 11/16 diameter is stiffer than the smaller 9/16 diamter of other styles, therefore they deflect less and provide more precise steering.

IMO, the split sleeve design between the ends is the offending piece, not necessarily the size. A 9/16 tie rod end can withstand 5g worth of loading, so stepping up to 11/16 just adds weight. Replace the split sleeve with a solid sleeve and the 9/16 ends will perform just fine.
