I just noticed this 70 roadrunner dash looks identical to the Charger.  Are they the same?   Sorry but if they are I never knew it.

And there are some subtle differences between the 70 ones versus the 68 and 69 ones.  The instrument cluster not so much but the other parts of the dash.

I think the long 150 speedo was standard on RRs but rallye clusters were still an option on them... don't ?

That was optional in the Coronet RT for 68-70.  The 70 Road Runner and GTX had the Rallye cluster and the 68 and 69 Road Runner and GTX had the bar speedo.

As far as I know, the '68-'70 GTX, Super Bee, Charger, all came standard with the "Rallye" dash cluster.

Never seen a Roadrunner with it though. Dash can be added/swapped with non rallye dash, but alot of wiring differences.

68-69 GTX came with standard dash 150 mph and Road Runner 68-69 has only 120 mph speedometer.

Yes, the bar type speedometers instead of the round Rallye guages.

And the Coronet RT also had the 150 speedo as standard.  Of course, technically the Super Bee also had a 150 speedo as standard albeit the round style Rallye guage of the Charger. :D

yup i could never understand why the budget car ( super bee ) got the ralley dash standard , and the expensive executives muscle car Coronet R/T got the long style speedo .

I think it was because it was positioned in a higher price point than the Road Runner so they had to do a few things to justify it being more money.
