Pulling my car apart for resto, the master cylinder in it was correct for Hemi cars, ports facing toward inner fender, gonna put in the correct one when car is being finished,so will sell this one.It was in my car, running and driving up and working till as of now, does have a small leak, and of course you would rebuild anyway.Would like some input as to WIW to help me price it for sale, thanks.

Not sure what its worth but I would be interested in purchasing it if you decide what you want for it.

Has it got part number 2229191 cast into the bottom of it?

I'm not certain, but it sounds like a replacement cylinder. I'm sure it's got some value, but an original Chrysler/Bendix unit would bring in more bucks. As you know, a 440 car should have the lines facing inwards and in 43 years, it is possible that the cylinder was replaced & the wrong one was installed.

Yup,must be a replacement,as there is no "Bendix" cast into the bottom like others I had.Def someone changed it out,it is nice shape, and my lines were bent/mangled around to get at the ports.I already got all the new lines from Carlisle this year for the correct one,and have one to for sending out to get rebuilt, that one I believe is an orig Bendix, will check.
