Correct water neck

What do you guys think about this water neck? It's from my -68 with 440. I think it is incorrect, should be a straight water neck on all big blocks, yes? Water pump housing is 2780987 which is correct if I'm right.

The water neck is straight in those years but it is alum & usually they warp & leak , so the one you have looks like cast iron & is probably far better as far as not leaking .

My original totally corroded away, was straight, and aluminum.  I replaced it with one that looks like that, and it came off a '70 something 440 motorhome.
