under restoration for the last 25 years

Most of the firewall items look like crap.  And check out the master cylinder. :eek2:

Maybe I'm picky......but for 70 grand?

Nice car.....but alot of money for what looks like a flipper.  I'd be afraid of what other corners might have been cut.

Well, at least they showed us the grille's that surrounds the headlight's are gone. And then theres the classic upgrade of the corner's under the rear bumper being filled in. For 70 grand?
Still looking for 15x7 Appliance slotted mags.....

I was going to say something about the headlight bezels also.   lots of things not up to par on that car.   I'd say that car is priced 3 times what it's really worth.   :rotz: ::) :slap:

The carpet pieces for the sides of the console probably would have put the resto over budget. :shruggy:
Oh, and just ignore the rib that's missing in the grille. :-\

The headliner seems to be pinned up with excess fabric in the picture of the dome light.

Checking out his other cars, their stripes were in the right place.  Maybe he bought it that away.

Speaking of corners...I hate when people goober up the rear valance corners like that....the shape is all wrong, and then they bondo the seams. when the sems are mudded up like that, it makes the whole rear of the car look like its sculpted out of bondo IMO...

70k for a not so nicely done clone?    ::)

The dome light looks funny as you can see the wiring running to the front of the roof under the headliner which looks like it has excess material that is folded up and tacked down. the wire harness should be ontop of the roof supports i think so that they don't show through the headliner.

That 68 looks exactly like my 68 i had in high school except mine didn't have any stripe. this car looks too nice not to have some skimming coats done i think. if they messed up the valance, what else did they bondo ?

Yes.....let's nitpick!      :yesnod:    This car really does deserve it.

Look at the placement difference of the trim from side to side.  (green arrows)  Plus the trim around the rear glass is not even all the way around; you can tell by the shadows.

The poor craftmanship is really apparent.  Even at 1/3 the price, I wouldn't be able to live with the way it looks.  Don't take that the wrong way, you know, it's a bright red '68 Charger, it's gonna turn heads.  But it would be embarassing to own for someone anal like me.

damn dude good eye.... I would take it for 20k for sure!!!!  Though at 70k it better be near perfect damn...dude good eye again  :2thumbs:

Lots to pick apart, and I only add in a few because of the price.

- small block radiator?, and upper hose looks a little strained
- passenger fender/hood alignment is off
- aren't jack and lug wrench just laid in trunk?  Probably new metal and forgot/lost jack mounts
- seats are missing hinge covers
- ashtray cover is wonky

Yep, lots of things to notice, looks like a factory Hemi K-frame, must be a 70 K-frame, that might be worth some bucks to the right person.

It is a 70 K frame, but it's not for a Hemi.
