Mine are kept in a garage, but I've seen some under tarps, in open fields, and even just left on the street...  :slap:

How / where do you store your Charger, and is it your ideal place?

Also, if you have a cool place or "man cave" for your Charger, bonus for pics

nvrbdn

mine is on the car lift wrapped in snuggly blankets but available to me incase i wanna do anything to it. not my ideal place because i always use my garage for other stuff, so i wish i had a single car seperate garage for the charger to sit in by itself. it also has plenty of mouse traps loaded with peanut butter waiting for an uninvited guest to try to take up residency. so i get to visit my car daily while checking the traps.. :2thumbs:

Mine is in an attached garage resting under a car cover with heat for the winter.

Also, for anyone who stores their cars on a 4 post lift, please share your experiences and satisfaction with your lift purchase - I am looking at the Backyard Buddy 4 post lift, which seems to be somewhat different in design than others.

Anyone have their Charger(s) on a lift for storage?

Bought my first house in May- I've got a 3 car garage, mine stays on the far right side of the garage parked right up against the pedestrian door- If someone tries to kick in the pedestrian door I will have a dent in my fender but there isn't enough room for anyone to open it and get in. Also had Lo-Jack installed on the car 2 weeks ago for a little extra security.

Lay a 4x4 scrap beside the car so if someone "did" kick in the door, it would stop against the 4x4, not your fender.  :Twocents:

One stays outside all the time, the other gets garaged in the winter.

in a 2 bay garage, wife would like to park her car but not enough room with the rest of the junk.

Mine sits in a unassuming 2 car garage nothing specail, but considering my 69 is a rusty pile.. its lucky to get that. I live in a suburb in pricksville so I must keep the eyesore hidden. If I had land I would just set it outside as yard-art and watch it RIP.

Yep that was the plan.  Unfortunately our garage addition plans got shot down, it's not gonna happen.   :bawling:

So that means we only have room for 2 cars at a time and it didn't make sense to leave the daily drivers out in the elements to keep cars inside that would not be driven on snow and ice.  Luckily we got a decent deal to store the two toys at the local storage facility close to home so on a nice day I can hop in my Honda and ten minutes later I'll be in the Charger.  Not too bad.  I'm hoping that eventually we'll have something to keep 4 cars at home but right now it's not in the cards.

In weather like this I much prefer to have my Honda in the garage, I hate clearing it when there's a foot of snow or more on the ground.

So do the lifts that you all have to support cars for general maintenance/work also pull double duty as storage so you can store one under another. I see lots of pics of that but haven't looked further to see if they are specialized or not.

Bummer on the new garage plans. I need to finish a raft of interior remodeling before I can even begin to plan my garage out.

I hear you on the clearing off cars in the winter gig.  :eek2: :eek2: :eek2:

How much does a storage unit for something like that cost per mo.?

There is always a car stored up on the 4 post lift in my shop.  That is the main reason I bought it.  I don't think I would do that with a 2 post lift though.
