'73 PS pitman arm won't come off with a puller. Greased the puller, tapped  with hammer and an air hammer with the puller tight. Let it sit all night with the puller on it.

Can you heat it any?

thats good  :2thumbs:

, i was going to answer , i would not use heat  , unless the box is going for a rebuild , then only a little  , cause of dammaging seals  ,
pitman arms can be stuck on there  soo  tight  ,   i always wear welding type gloves & wrap  pitman arm / pullar in a towel or something  ,  stop  every thing  flying every where , when they let go , thay can with hell of a force !!  :yesnod:

Good to hear it came off, I needed penetrating oil and heat, broke one light duty puller and had to borrow a bigger one. Hadn't been off since it left the assembly plant I guess, came off with a huge crack eventually
