I don't car for the body colored bumpers and the wheel style other than that looks good!
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

Mytur Binsdirti

The bumpers are an easy fix. I really like the concept of the old car with modern suspension & drivetrain, but unfortunately, you'll spend north of 100 large and you'll never recoup your money when it's time to sell.

I don't know why the bumper guards get the chopping block on almost every pro touring 2nd gen.  It's one of the signature stylist points in my opinion.

Ghoste

I'm with you 100% on that one.

You said to make the car look more modern, not perform in a modern way.

Most GL's still had the bumper guards on them.

I think I remember seeing some with the narrow push bar that omitted the bumper guards.

Great looking Charger, a lot of customs stuff. But I agree, needs the chrome bumpers; the grille doesnt stand out as much.

1974dodgecharger

looks good to me.....I wouldnt kick her out of bed.

Kern Dog

Beautiful car.
The cut and tucked bumpers look great. That touch is a tough sell to the old timers and the purists that also prefer 15 inch wheels.
You may never get them to accept these kind of builds.
I say that there is room for both. This car probably is faster and runs cleaner than any factory built 68-70 Charger. It surely gets double the fuel economy. The tires and wheels are always an area that is hard to please everyone. Look at the thousands of different styles available for cars and trucks today.
