My daughter missed her flight

Argggggghhhh!!!!!  My daughter missed her flight from Paris to New York by a few minutes.  The airport won't allow my daughter on the flight because she was not checked in one hour before the flight.  She told the security person she would run to the gate but there where  not being nice.....

Now she has to get a flight booked from New York to Missoula, MT, of course it is not to busy out of New York right??

Wow what an exciting day, I don't know how she will get home for Christmas.

It is really hard to talk to someone in Paris when we only have facebook to communicate.  She is stuck in the airport until tomorrow and her visa expires tomorrow, she spent a semester studying abroad in Chambery, France.  Why doesn't things go as planned?

They tried to pull that 1hr thing on us when we flew in Nov. My wife started crying. They grabbed our bags (didn't charge for them) and pointed us to the gate and told us to hurry. 

Hope she makes it home in time....

well, think of it this way. Maybe she'll get home in time for Christmas, maybe she wont. But the important part is that she will get home.

It's been my experience Christmas day flights are easy to get.

She spent 24 hours in the Paris Airport and then flew to New York JFK and then tried to get a flight.   She will be flying out tonight at 7 PM from JFK to Salt Lake City flying Sky Blue, I heard Sky Blue does not have the best record for being on time.  The roads are going to be snowpacked and icy in Montana and Idaho, but rain in Salt Lake City and 45 degrees F.

We were thinking of getting her "The Terminal"  for a gag gift.  Maybe she can write a movie for Hollywood and make her millions.  We will be glad when she makes it home, we miss her dearly. Robert

I can understand that she missed the flight because transition between planes are too short!
Last time I almost missed my flight too. You have to run to take a bus and go between different terminals in CDG.

She was there to study at the university for a semester, I thought she liked this school for the opportunity to go skiing in her off time from classes.  She injoyed her time there but would have liked to stay for a year to see more of France.  She had two days in Paris but we all know that is just not enough time.  She will be landing in 1 hour.
