70 AMD front Fender venting

So i got an email from Dantes saying AMD have retooled 70-71 dart fenders. What the ??

They make dart fenders , but still no 70 charger fenders.

Pretty sure they would sell more 70 charger front fenders vs Dart fenders.

I seriously doubt that, being that A-bodies are significantly cheaper to build than a 2nd gen Charger especially a 70 Charger.

Wasn't there like 40,000 70 Chargers built compared to 120,000 70 Darts. Could be the reason for the demand of the Darts fenders.

With as cheap as a lot of mopar guys are I don't see A body guys paying $500 for a dart fender. I do see 70 fenders bringing in the 600-700 sticker price.

what are you guys wining about? try finding ANY sheet metal for a 3rd gen, apart from quarters! sure AMD will produce ash trays and glove box doors for 68-70 a/b bodies before any 3rd gen stuff! I've been trying to find iner/outer rockers for 2 years now!

Just a suggestion, how about starting a 70 fender petition?  It'd give them an idea of how big the demand is for those fenders from restorers and the Daytona replica guys

I put one out a couple weeks ago. Then there is the shipping cross border mess. Wish I could lay down $700 for a new one and be done with it.

Last 2 drivers fenders i bought just based on pics. Last one was said to be mint in primer. They had to actually putty the inside of the fender too as it was so warped.

Only thing left is the drivers side fender before it can be blocked. Its messy.
Comming from what my car had gone threw that says a lot.

Why do '70's have to look so cool!

We seriously were considering buying a 69 fender and try to make a 70 out of it. By the time i buy a $700 amd fender and all the time involved might be trading 4 quarters for a dollar.

The current fender i have is a warped mess of shruken/streched metal.

Found one about 10 hours away guy says it has bondo over damage and rust. Sigh probably junk too.

I am making Daytona fenders out of the AMD fenders if you have good front edges you could just section them onto the AMD fenders. Alot less headache than making any 70 Charger fender nice.

How far back you figure you'd need on the donor 70 fender? So depressed with the fender have not looked at it in forever. Pretty sure the front corner is kind of mangled to top things off.
