Hello,
First off let me say I love this site!  I spend loads of time at work looking and reading at all the cool stuff you guys are doing with your cars, dont tell my boss!     I've had many mopars and a few brand x cars over the years, but this is my first Charger.  I found it local to me here in Minnesota.  Its a 1967 with a fresh mild build 383/727 combo, its dark green with a gold and black int.  I had sold my 440 69 dart and looking for something to replace it with and stumbled on this one.  The folks that owned it had fallen on hard times and needed money for medical bills and rent on the home, so sad to say for the guy he had to let it go after owning it for 5-6 yrs.
Sorry to go on and on!  I will try to get some pics up soon to share with you guys!
Have a great day and Merry Chirstmas!

Yes, we need pics and sooner rather than later.   You'll like it, the 2nd gens get more than their share of love but you'll soon find the fastback Chargers have some unique charms of their own.

JB400

Welcome to the site   I agree with Ghoste, we need pix. :2thumbs:  You might want to read the help section first so you don't have trouble. We do need more guys with 1st gen chargers on here.  There's plenty of room for all. :2thumbs:

Lol, yes that is true but I have to say almost everytime I drive that thing I will have somebody wanting to stop and talk about it!  I love the dash and the interior on those first year Charegers!

So, are you keeping the 383 in it?   Any plans for it or just drive it?

I am planning on putting in a "warmed over"  440 in it this winter, a friend is looking to put a late model hemi in his wifes 72 'cuda and is gonna sell me the 440 that is in it, runs great in the cuda with 3.91's and open exhaust it runs low 12's so it should be alot of fun in my charger!

I do plan on driving it as much as I can in the summer, it drives so nice and goes down the road just great!   I do drive my charger every nice day, I hate leaving it in the garage!

Headlight motors and dash lighting all working good in it?

440mike

Yep, the dash works great and love how it looks cruising at night! it really has to be one of the coolest dash setups ever.  The headlights needed a relay to work when I bought the car, they now work good.
The car is kinda an older re-do the paint was done about 15 plus yrs ago, looks decent still but has some scratches and a couple small dings, but all new int, seat covers, carpet etc.
It has chrome reverse wheels on it but I wanna put some aluminum slots on it, 15x8's or so on the rear to fill those huge wheel wells up!

Like I said, read the help section first to make it easier for you.  Give your pix a unique file name like today's date or something of the sorts.

Will do thanks for the heads up!

Sublime/Sixpack

Welcome. I look forward to seeing pics of your Charger.

Just curious, was the 440 '69 Dart you sold a factory 440 Dart?

Thanks guys!   I know I gotta get the pics on here, I'll try tonight.    The Dart was not a fact 440 car, it was however a real clean 6 cyl car with a 525hp 440 in it!  sweet little car, it ended up going to NJ last summer.  I liked it but just wanted a change. :yesnod:
