Specs and pics, if you are glad you bought the truck you did...  :popcrn:

Reasons why you wouldn't buy your same truck again, if it's junk  :popcrn:

Silver R/T

Dont have one. I was considering getting a plow for my truck though. I friend at work has dedicated old 80s Jeep plow truck he got for 3K. It was a good deal, I just helped him fix breaks and it runs great. He has long driveway to clean where he lives at (out in the country)

I have always had good luck with Chevy vans and trucks (if you buy them new).
I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. I share it with my Dad. Only has 54k miles on it. It's an awesome plow truck but blows chunks when it comes to gas mileage, (has the 5.7). When towing my 24' enclosed car hauler I get 8.5 MPG's, wether the trailer is empty or loaded. We even had the rear gears swapped out from 4.11's to 3.55's to improve the gas mileage.
We are looking to buy a new truck this spring. Won't buy a Chevy since it's now owned by the government. After reading about the Chrysler workers who got caught drinking on the job and still got rehired my Dad won't look at a Ram, even thou I told him Ram  is now a separate company from Chrysler. The Ford F-150 with the v-6 turbo ecoboost looks pretty sweet.

I found a 2000 Dodge Dakota on CL w/ a plow for $4k w/ 200k mi.

I am reluctant to buy a smaller truck, as it has the 4.7L V8 and not as "heavy Duty" as other trucks. But the price...  :scratchchin:

I have a friend that plows with the same rig, it's a 6'6" plow.  He does driveways, no huge parking lots so he doesn't beat it badly.  He bought it used (I think his is an 02) and has had it for 4 years I think, the only problem he had was tranny related- burnt one up that he had to replace, he added a big ole tranny cooler and a temp gauge when he put the rebuild in.  It's been over two years and no problems now!
