Hey could fish be zombies? and if they were how could you tell all they do is swim around and eat? For that matter what about any zombie animals...especialy cows, I mean if there is any animal just waiting to be zombieized it's a cow!

I think this is very educational. When any of us has to face a zombie hoard we're all much better equipped to deal with the threat and it's more a question of WHEN than IF.
It's kind of like preparing for Y2K

I've also found this topic to be  very enlightening  and entertaining.  Now that I know there is a zombie survival book I might be able to ease  a friends fear. She honestly is afraid of a  Zed break out. I think I should be able to formulate a good survival plan with analyzing every zombie film and reseach from the survival guide.

Holy cow! I just watched Peter Jackson's 'Dead Alive' and I can't remember ever seeing that much carniage/gore in a single movie before. Unbelievable. The dark humor was very good.

Hey question...how much damage to a zombie brain needs to be done to kill one? For example will a simple .22 do the job or do you need a larger caliber weapon?

Sure they do. They use sight and sound to find food. And yes, a .22 should work just fine.

One question though; if a person is a vegan when they become a zombie would they still refuse to eat meat?

I dont think so since they say the brain has the most basic of functions... that is to walk and eat....

technically yes a  .22   can get the job done , although there are a few disadvantages as well as the advantages of having  a .22  .     Yeah the .22 is light , small , and you can carry a greater amount of ammunition in an outbreak  , but the .22 has little stopping power  therefore you would have to be in close range.   For Example;  R. Reagan had been shot before by a .22 and didn't even know hours later.
