The Walking Dead:

Is just me or are those Zombies moving alot faster this season?

68RT4ME

I didn't see where this question has been asked so I will. Let's say you're a Zombie and happen to wear dentures but at the time you became the zombie, you didn't have your dentures in, How would you bite or feed on someone? I mean without teeth, wouldn't you be kinda useless except for maybe helping another zombie by catching/holding onto someone. Does he even need to eat to stay dead-alive?

Well I watched Zombie Apocolypse last night on SciFi and the zombie's clearly showed an ability to learn.
So if a toothless zombie caught you, they might just start ripping you apart and eating like a blooming onion at the Outback Steakhouse.

Q:  Why haven't people in zombie movies heard of zombies?

That is a great series, fairly graphic for regular cable TV.

Yes, and this will come up again in the second season.

Actually, in the second season there are a few people who decide the end is near, lets screw.

The first season is really good, lots of good action.  They slow the first half of the second season down a bit.

I agree. It's like an alternate reality where the word has never been used before. Unless it's a comedy like Shawn of the Dead or Zombieland, both self-aware, self-mocking movies, it's apparently taboo to use the word. I guess it's like using the word robot in sci-fi or cowboy in a western. :shruggy:

College teaches students how to survive a zombie attack

Get ready, America, because the zombie apocalypse starts on May 14. At least that's the case at Michigan State, where the School of Social Work is offering a summer course that teaches participants how to survive an undead uprising. "Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse" will be taught by professor Glen Stutzky, who introduces the class in a Walking Dead-worthy (and surprisingly graphic) YouTube video. "In times of catastrophe, some people find their humanity. Others lose it," he says ominously.

According to the official description, students will use "the idea of a Zombie apocalypse to learn about the nature, scope and impact of catastrophic events." In other words, this class takes a lot of BRAAAIIINNNS.

Apparently it's selling very well!
Products include a line of Zombie Max ammunition (slogan: "just in case") made by Hornady Manufacturing. "We can't keep it in stock," says Parsons. "It comes in a cool, colorful box with a Zombie on it."

I am having "Walking Dead" withdrawl I have never EVER watched a TV series faithfully until this show first aired. AMC has the best show lineup period.
Sold my Charger unfortunately....never got it finished.

chargerboy69

I agree.

AMC now has me hooked on Hell on Wheels, and then of course Mad Men which I have been hooked on from day one.

HBO is another channel for good series'. Band of Brothers, Deadwood, The Pacific, Rome, and Game of Thrones just to name a few.

Confirmed Zombie outbreak in Miami...It begins!!!

http://miami.cbslocal.com/2012/05/26/miami-police-confrontation-men-leaves-1-dead-1-hurt/

Reporting Tiffani Helberg
South Florida Crime
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami police shot and killed a man on the MacArthur Causeway Saturday afternoon, and police sources told CBS4 they had no choice: the naked man they shot was trying to chew the face off another naked man, and refused to obey police orders to stop his grisly meal.

The bizarre shooting happened shortly after 2 p.m., when police responded to a 911 call about two naked men fighting on a bike path along the Causeway, which was packed with traffic on a busy holiday weekend.

Miami police have not confirmed the details of what happened next, but sources close to the investigation told CBS4 News that officers found one man gnawing on the face of another, in what one police source called the most gruesome thing he'd ever seen.

The fight was taking place at the causeway exit near the Miami Herald building, and amazed officers tried to stop it, ordering the man making a meal out of the other man to stop.

Sources told CBS4 that the man refused to obey, and continued his attack. Investigators sharing limited details about the confrontation, saying only that the two men were fighting and the officers felt they had no choice but to take deadly force.

"During this confrontation an officer did discharge his weapon striking one of the individuals, said Det. Willie Moreno, spokesperson for Miami Police.

But the sources close to the investigation say that dry recitation of the facts apparently doesn't go far enough. They said the man still would not give in to police commands, so officers fired again.

"That individual has lost his life right now," Moreno said.

With the attacker dead, lying nude on the pavement, officers and paramedics were able to get to his victim and rush him to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Police sources say the man had virtually no face and was unrecognizable.

Police have shared no information about his identity or condition.

Once the bizarre confrontation came to an end, police were left with the task of figuring out what had happened. The investigation forced the closure of the causeway from Miami Beach to Miami, and also closed an exit to the causeway from I-95.

The investigation snarled traffic for hours and delayed thousands of motorists until ways could be found to get them off the causeway.

Police have had little official to say about the details, and have not released the name of the cannibalistic attacker

1BAD68

"Aguilar said the man ate his victim's nose and eyeballs. The officer then used his service weapon and shot the man, Aguilar said, but the gunshot had no effect."

WTF!!!
