Christmas present to myself on ebag... A new 2 post car lift!!!!    :nixon: actually I bought a new exhaust for my 300c and then thought crap that thing is 5" off the ground. So I called my buddy and said your going half with me if I found a good lift for a good price! He was not sure. But considering that he works for me on the side his pay check may be with held for a bit.... lol besides he will use it 90% more then I. (servicing my cars as I let him drive them because I work out of town... and his family's) You have to understand that this guy has a serious problem of a clean car/truck. he will spend hours detailing to the point that I joke with him that even a car off the assembly line has more dust on it then yours...  I think it will be a win win situation.
Restoring a charger is like a saying I heard along time ago "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it".... Jesus I wish I could remember who said that...

Congrats!

I researched a lot last year on different lifts for myself. A lot of people like the Max Jax lift.

here is a good shop toy

That's pretty damn cool!  I just tried to find how much it is - can't find anything.  I'm guessing it's pretty expensive. :popcrn:

Reportedly, the price is around a grand. Half the price of a lift.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Fred

WOW! is it too late to put it on my wish list for Santa for him to get it under my tree this Xmas?
That's pretty nifty.

you can usually find a good used one on craigslist for $700 to $800.  i got a nussbaum which is a quality, german made lift for $600 a couple years ago.  i regularly see them on the kansas city craigslist for less than $1000.  they aren't hard to take out or put in.
