It's amazing at how much stuff one accumulates throughout the years.  I've heard it mentioned that a person should move every 2-3 years to keep from it.

Fred

You can say that again. When we moved to where we are now, we cleared out so much junk. And now...........we have more than we ever did.
But we've taken a stand and have started to clear things out again. Stuff that just sits around taking up precious space and never being used has all gone to the Salvos or the tip. And that includes things inside the house as well as in the sheds and outbuildings.

Of course, the mancave is another story.  :icon_smile_big:

When I sold my house in Texas a couple years ago, I moved stuff that I hadn't seen since I moved it in that house 20 years prior. All that stuff went in the dumpster.

Those are some really cool pics of your garage memorabilia.  :2thumbs:

Doesn't it make you wonder why you took it with you in the first place.

He said "That's a mirror, dip-shit!

Oh absolutely. Bad thing is it was probably the same story from the last move prior to buying that house.

Very cool.  I got hooked on American Pickers, and they just found some of the old oil bottles on an episode that aired yesterday.

Very cool! :2thumbs:

I've been collecting old photos and wall hanging stuff for when I get to make the basement how I want to.  I have at least another 10 years until the kids won't be bouncing off the walls in the basement.
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

billfury

You should change the title to "check out my museum".
Some real cool stuff.

Yeah buddy, everybody and their brother got caught up in the "NASCAR" thing..I remember folks buying that crap at rediculous prices for YEARS hoping it was gonna triple in value. Only to find out, even after Dale Sr. died, it was worth about what they paid for it.

I didn't pat premium for too many. About 1/4 is Richard Petty, and some are limited and Franklin Mint. I got a lot of them at auctions and got good deals. I looked some up awhile back and almost put some on ebay to recoup some money to fund my car.

It is a Bennit air and water tower with a lighted top.

But what was the general name? (especially when it did not include the water).  Air depenser? Air guage? Air pump?

:slap:   :smilielol: :smilielol:  Me too bother, me too... (I would have one more car then :icon_smile_big:).

Although I do not regret my small rainbow of Charger redlines.

F8-4life

Love the redlines, I think those will hold there own into the future, unlike alot of modern diecast/hotwheels. Im working on getting a custom charger in every color myself..
