Even if you're not a nature fan this video is incredible...more incredible is how the h#11 did they film it?

That's amazing stuff alright.
They're amazing birds. Beautiful to watch.
The problem is that once their talons take hold of the fish, they can't retract them and if the fish is too big and therefore too heavy, they can't get airborne and  actually drown.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Then how do they eat the fish?  :shruggy:

They pick at it bit by bit with their beaks until it's all gone.

But seriously, I know it sounds like hogwash but once they're back on the ground they can retract their talons again and all is well. It's only in flight. AND IT IS TRUE.

We have quite a few Osprey families in my nieghborhood. Actually looking at some new nests up my road yesterday.Had one, a couple of years ago fly up and down the main street of town, holding a large bass, arrow strait, like the last shot in the film. Back and forth , like it was showwing off.Just something to see, how often does a large bird and a large fish fly by.

Sounds like one of those times when you ask yourself, "Am I the only one seeing this"?
