Well I have had my Cummins Dodge 2500 a tad over 2 months and someone ran a stop sign today going 35mph and smoked me............Hit the front and spun around and caught the bed between the cab and rear tire. I am hoping it can be fixed...............The Toyota didnt fare to well....................I got a sore shoulder and neck tonight.............

damn Todd. well if they ran the light its their fault, so insurance should take care of you I would hope. still sucks. all that time finding just the right truck and some dumbass tries to destroy it.

Yeah I really hope they can fix my truck. Its taken me a long long time to find the right truck I could afford in the best shape and miles out there.................just a shame if its totaled................I think the drivers front wheel/tire took the brunt of  the hit............as long as that didnt bend something inside..............cab seems to be ok. Door opened and closed ok.. Dont know if they will fix the bed or replace?!?! It was still running and rolling ok after the hit............I just went ahead and and went forward up the curb and into the parking lot to get my ass out of the traffic that was moving about........I saw it coming but couldnt prevent it................sore shoulder and neck tonight...........

Man, hope you're feeling better today... That sucks.... Small world... I guy, in a hurry, pulled right out into my lane to get around his slow lane and whamm!!! He smacked the passenger rear fender and bumper of Kim's 2-week old brand new Ram Sport !!! I was driving, so it wasn't a "warm and fuzzy" exchange. But, I did Kim proud and didn't use one cuss-word !!!!

I hope she had appropriate insurance and learned a valuable lesson ( unfortunately, you had to be the teacher )...

Well so far insurance is going along very well. We both had State Farm. Have had 5 calls today from them. Get a Rental car tomorrow. Shoulder is feeling better today but my neck is stiff and sore. We'll take a day or 2 off work and see how it goes. Xray and Cat Scan showed nothing hurt so its just sore muscles from the jolt.  Did get to the body shop and they will check it all out on the lift this afternoon but the guy said just looking at it that it should be fixed. What happened was the car hit the front tire area and then spun and its rear passenger corner hit the bed of my truck. It actually hit both drivers side wheel/tires..........hoping there is no suspension or frame damage due to the hits there. The wheels and tires are boogered and chances are since is was a 3/4 ton truck with the heavier hardware I should be ok.  Bad thing is with the holidays and stuff coming up I may be without the truck for 3 weeks.........I get a Nissan Altima tomorrow.............it was that or a Chevy Impala................I have a friend that has a Altima and they seem to be nice cars. It was a guy driving his GF's car. She was with him. They were from out of town. He admitted that he was going 35mph and didnt see the stop sign.  I am pleased that he owned up to the fact he screwed up and I dont have to play games as to what happened. Nice to see that there are honest people out there in the world. No texting or phone calls. No one was drunk. Just a accident.

I'm glad you're okay. You usually feel worse 24-48 hours after the crash happens. When I was a delivery driver we were told there are hardly ever any "accidents" only incidents, and incidents are always preventable. In this case if the driver was paying more attention that would have been prevented.

5200$ to fix it and it has to go to the aligment shop and may require some front end parts...........2nd week of January before I get it back.....................got a Chevy Impala rental car...........what a POS that thing is.........

That's actually not to bad for all that. And the Impala is better the a VW Beatle
