funny thing is stroker, i have a copy of the pm that requests at least a clue to where the pic was. nobody really posts pics in a pdf and, so it wasnt as obvious to others as it may have been to you!

looks like a big project, but a fun one to start! Once you actually start on it, make a "strokers rebuild" thread to keep updated photos on.  :2thumbs:

That was what my 1000th post is meant to be.  I wanted a headline that I could easily find.

Get the body straight first and go from there.  It needs new full quarters which I'm getting after christmas.  The skins that are on there now look nice from the picx, but upclose, not so much.  The guy that put them on did a piss por job.

I hear you.  Quarters are next on the list for mine.  However, I lost my storage location about a month ago so now I'm spending all my charger money trying to build a garage at the house so I have a place to work on it.

such is life.
Remember the average response time to a 911 call is over 4 minutes.

The average response time of a 357 magnum is 1400 FPS.

Know what that is like.  I waited until my uncle put a new roof on his shop before I started my restoration.  It's pretty bad when ice falls through the roof and kinks the hood.   Had the hood resting on the roof of the car overhanging on the right side.  Ice fell through and hit the edge of the hood, kinking it.  If it wasn't for the hood, it would have hit the edge of the door.   Hood can be fixed.

A buddy of mine just lost his storage too, must be an epidemic of some kind.  On the other hand, I think it was a good thing in his case because the place he was in had a totally crapped out roof that was ready to give some day sooner than later.  Rainfall was a disaster in there every time so I only saw a situation coming like what you experienced Stroker.  Cheap storage isn't always good storage.

I think they did me a favor really....the place looked like it was going to fall down and had numerous holes rotted through the walls.  I'd been wanting to bring the car home for some time but just couldn't bring myself to spend all of my savings to do it.  Well, they made the decision for me.

Sold the building to a church or something, apparently.  No prior warning.  Nothing.  Got a phone call one day and heard that I had 2, maybe 3 weeks to get all my stuff out.  I didn't even know the place was for sale or I may have tried to buy it myself.

That was my first time posting pix and was having trouble with it like all other rookies.  So, I set it as a pdf file instead.  If someone would have asked me where it was, I would have easily told you.  But, you guys went to a circus instead, so why spoil the fun.   :2thumbs:  And that was my original post unaltered.  I figured some people were smart enough to click on link.

I guess everyone got caught up in the headline, that they didn't bother reading the article.

I give cdr the credit for finding it. :2thumbs:

I did (I used my noggin) but I wasn't going to give the game away.
