Thanks again, Tan Top.
One thing I really like is how TT will post a secondary close up shot whether or not you can make out the Charger in the wide shot. I find that entertaining.

Me too.  I look at it as a challenge to find the Charger that TanTop spied, without having to look at the "answer key" photo below it.  Most times it's fairly obvious/easy, but I will admit to having spent more than a few seconds looking all around that red Corvette picture a few posts above - and finally looking at the closeup... right before doing :brickwall: .

  to you, TanTop!

Whoa....That Daytona sure has a "back in the day" vibe to it!

Old Moparz

There's a guy named Andy Blair who has a couple of thousand old photos, mostly 60's & 70's that he took as a teen back then. He has a Flickr web page with LOTS of great pics. Many of them are in the NYC, CT & NJ areas & include the World Trade Center before, during & after completion.

Here's the link to his page if anyone else has a few hours to kill.  :o

Anyway, there's a second generation Charger in the lower center of the pic....

Airmail440

Tan Top you seem to have a handle on getting a lot of these Charger pictures. My 74 Rallye 440, yellow blaze, sunroof, was supposed to have been on loan to Universal Studios in the fall of 73 and I've tried to find some photographic proof, searching for shows and movies from that time with no luck any suggestions??

Hey AM440
sounds like a awesome third generation  :coolgleamA:  :2thumbs:  if you get the time post up some pictures  :yesnod:

have a look  at this website  https://moparsunroofregistry.com/  send a Email to Scott  saying whats what etc  he might know something ......

the only thing i can think of right  now , is a early 70s trucking film & a gang steeling what ever they were carrying or something ,  forget the name , theres a 3rd generation in there sure its got a sun roof too , it was or might still be on youtube  poor quality film with the color  not sure if it was yellow  or cream or lime green , think i did post  screen captures of it on here  , or was going to or we was talking about the film in a thread  :-\ might of even been the old site many years ago , just done a quick search on youtube  nothing  will be like a needle hay stack with out the name  :scratchchin:

:coolgleamA:  something else i've thought about & spoke on here sometime ago about  movie tv cars is , when its cropped up in conversation ie   bullet ,  DMCL  , vanishing point , original  DOH  or any show film etc  ...  , when cars are used in movies  do they have their vins recorded  by the production companies for insurance purposes if so there must be or  been a paper record of the document somewhere , movie company , the insurance company ?  although if there was such documents 45 -55 years later they prolly long since been shredded  :shruggy:
