Always a sad time of year isn't it?   I don't know if it was by design or not but the unlighted background in your pic adds to the hibernation theme.

Yep, Me too. I just disconnected the battery & put the car cover on it last night while a buddy stopped by to go thru my fittings bins. I was hoping to get it out another time or too if it ever stops raining. I guess, it is better than snow though. I hate winter. Have no dea why I stay in Mich. I need to go buy some sleds to help pass the winter months by.

My car is not in storage, it is nowhere else but my garage, I am not in denial.

I'm surprised you northerners haven't put your chargers on skis. :icon_smile_big:  Don''t laugh, it worked for the Model T :2thumbs:

I feel the disappointment you cold climate Moparholics experience every year. Here in Calijokia the only time I don't drive the beast is when it rains.  :pity:

:-\  I say the same thing about NoDak.

We used to say we stayed in ND for the quality of life and the people......but that is going to hell because of the oil boom and everything that entails.  Running out of reasons to stay here and put up with 5 months of winter.

2.2 % unemployment rate and 10,000 unfilled job openings brings in the rif-raff.

We ended up putting ours away for the winter on Oct 15th this year. It was our earliest layup in the last 5 years in Northern Michigan :'(. When it happens that early it seems like a lifetime before they come back out in the spring.

Sad time of year unless you have the right storage place to be able to work on a few items...
Ours is a shell so I'm not worried this year, but what do people do about mice while in storage???  A buddy has a nice 69 Camaro which he bought a zip cover (drive on top and then cover wraps and zips closed, not an inflatable one).  A few years ago he stored in his fathers barn and by spring mice had eaten through all his wires!!  :flame:

And to all chargers, a good night!!!

Put my 69 in on Nov 3rd this year. Same time as last. Could have kept it out longer but I don't own the warehouse.  :icon_smile_dissapprove:  6 months is a LONG time and I find myself frequently doing the math.  I think it always seems like a lifetime.  :yesnod:
