dyslexic teddybear

isn't that interrupted by too many warning labels? :scratchchin:

polywideblock

don't they only work on those that can read ,or in company of those that can read ?  ;D

As there is more stupid people.....would that not prove the labels work?

polywideblock

should we remove the icky taste and smell that they have added to things in the last few decades ?

petrol is just one   :yesnod:  it "smelled good" when I was a kid at the fuel station ,  now it stinks

dyslexic teddybear

As long as it self-inflicted.....remove the warnings and let people removing themselves from the gene-pool could be a good thing, right?

Likely I am suffering the results now....but yeah.....I used to think gas smelled pretty good too. :yesnod:

polywideblock

     couldn't hurt could it ?

this was at the same  time when  Walter Matthau    was sniffing lighter fluid to wake himself up in whatever that 50- 60's spy comedy movie  was called

  and 71 GA4  383 magnum  SE

dyslexic teddybear

Didn't we all think that.....at the time?

Not that I ever intentionally "sniffed" etc......but I did expose myself to a lot of stuff that had to hurt me over time. Fuel up a chain saw 20 times a day.....one smells a lot of gas. Diesel and gas mix for cleaning fluid......paint fumes.....long list. Young, dumb, and full of......that was me. :yesnod:

polywideblock

did anyone tell us differently ?

no-one had any idea back then   :rotz:

we used to walk around the bush with "slug guns" and a mouthful of slugs  :eek2:   because the slugs kept your mouth watering and you didn't need a drink   :shruggy: now they tell us "lead" is the worst thing a kid can come into contact with , could have been a brain surgeon if not for this

  and 71 GA4  383 magnum  SE

dyslexic teddybear

would we have listened?

Ahhh....lead. Water pipes used to be made from it. The farm I grew up on had a spring....until I was around 20 water got to the house in lead pipe. I have read that lead pipe formed a layer of oxide that kept it from leaching into the water.......that would explain how we all survived.....

polywideblock

at least until we got to the door   ;D   right ?

  and 71 GA4  383 magnum  SE

dyslexic teddybear

didn't we agree to nearly anything to get out the door? :yesnod:

polywideblock

hate sounding like my old man but "weren't those the days "?

no sicko's to worry about , had to be home by dark  . what a tough life it was  :scratchchin:

  and 71 GA4  383 magnum  SE

Aren't you overestimating how bad things are?

polywideblock
