69 A/C Box Fresh Air Door Spring Question

Looking for a picture of how this spring attaches and is held in place to the linkage on the fresh air door on a 69 B-Body A/C Box.

Thanks.  Its hard to see in the pictures.  Looking at the spring it attaches to the bottom of the A/C box with a Z bend followed by a straight 90 degree bend on the linkage side.  The problem is the 90 degree bend side (linkage side) is not secure. It seems there should be a clip or another Z bend to secure the spring properly to the linkage side. Any thoughts?
