Dodge charger station wagon, how come no ones ever built one?

How come this has never been attempted? ive seen a challenger 2-door wagon how come no charger wagon,not actually building a wagon out of a charger but getting a 68-69 coronet wagon and making the change into an charger r/t wagon, they have roadrunner wagons,super bee wagons,and some chevy fans build 454 ss chevelle wagons, now LETS SEE A 1968-1970 DODGE CHARGER WAGON!!!!!!!!! -MATT (no you cant post pics of dodge magnums lol)

Ive seen the purple challenger wagon .I had this thought for years .68-70 charger nose on a b body mopar wagon.Add the charger door scallops.Like they did on a 70 GTX wagon built had the 1/4 air indents as added detail

Couldn't resist.  I have seen a 67 Coronet wagon done up as an RT.  I can't recall if I've seen one with a Charger front clip or not.  I have seen a "Ranchero-El Camino" styled 1st gen though.
As to doing a second generation, you just don't see that many Coronet wagons to start with from that era.  Just a theory but maybe Dodges mid level pricing had something to do with that.  Plymouth being cheaper, appealed to the sales crowd and large families who needed the room.  More affluent families seemed to move right up to the Chryslers.  In my opinion only though.  I was a pretty young pup in the 60's.  I suppose I could get off my lazy keester and look up the sales figures since I have them here someplace.

I could be easy to make one out of a '73 Coronet. While you're in that boat, you can also make one out of a 4 door Coronet

I've got a '67 Coronet wagon with a stick shift, and have thought of doing it over as a Charger wagon.  It wouldn't be all that difficult.  There are several choices to do it up right, but I've just got way too many projects and really just need to get rid of the wagon.

The hobby's birth is hot rodding.  Take a car that's not meant to be fast and modifying it.  Hell, most of the musclecars weren't left as stock.
I know you were just busting ricer balls.  I don't like their cars either but I'll give them props for taking an interest in things mechanical at least.

True.  I'm always trapped between hassling them and encouraging them. 
I'm no angel, I have a couple of Maxwell House coffee cans that I've been known to add to my exhaust turndowns.  People either get it right away and laugh, or point and wonder why I have coffee cans on my exhaust tips.

Sorry to highjack, but does anyone know if Chrysler ever considered an El Camino/Ranchero version back in the 60's? If they did, it seems like the b-body Dodges & Plymouths would have been the choice. I have seen an Austrailian Dodge version in the early 70's but seemed like it was maybe an A body....Has anyone ever heard any old 60's rumors about why they didnt jump into that market when it was really hot?

I'm not aware of any plans for the North American market.  Even in concept form the closest they came was the Deora and it was based on a full size A100 pickup.
I suppose in a very loose sense, the A100 could be lumped in with the Ranchamino's but it's a big stretch to me personally.
