What Bob's saying is true.  I see these threads and jump in with humor trying to lighten or defuse the tension but it doesn't have much affect.  I don't understand why there is so much anger on both sides for some.   I keep saying it's just a toy. No reason to get so personal and upset on either side.    It's frickin crazy how it turns into mentality, rich or poor, Puritan, politics, north & south and anything else .......

It's just a damn toy!

well, heres the deal. if everyone totally agreed on every topic this would be a boreing place filled with 500 red chargers with road wheels.....  the controversy causes interesting reading. regardless if its a difference of opinion on the color of a stripe, or the wrong steering wheel, or even the color of the car. i would be bored to death if someone posts that they love the dmcl paint scheme and 300 posts after that say "me too". the fun of the discussion is all the different ideas. i know it seems that alot of threads are started on this one paint scheme, but i guess it is the one topic that has such a divided following. dont ruin the site by making everyone agree.

It's not about the car itself.  We all love the car, that's the one thing we all have in common.  Paint schemes and wheels are details, it's still the same car.  The real issue is that us hotheads don't get along about anything else.  As long as we stick to threads like 'got a pic of your charger' we'll be fine but when politics or religion rears its ugly head, we're screwed because someone's gonna piss off someone and the ball will be rolling.

I support freedom of speech and I feel that everyone is entitled to say how they feel, unfortunately some people don't realize that they need to think before they speak and so that little thing called 'fact' gets left out by some and that's when the crapola hits the fanola.

This is a good place with a lot of good people, but even the best of us get tired of the same old unsubstantiated bs.

There always has to be an outspoken person in the crowd to make us Canadians look bad. Nothing like name calling to dumb it down to the grade 4 level.
