Very little. Trunk, floors, unibody all excellent. Original spare un touched in the trunk as well as the jack. Trunk floor extensions are perfect as well. Still has the undercoating. I had it up in the air and looked close at everything. It will need brakes, gas tank, muffler and so on from sitting, but pops right off with a little fuel down the carb.

41,000 original miles!

Actually, 43,504 original miles.  :slap:  :poke:   That's really pretty sweet. I could have a lot of fun with that one.  :yesnod:

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

Cool, a post car with rubber floor mats!

kikgas01

The rubber mat is real nice yet as well. I am thinking it may have been a radio delete. The antenna cable is routed wierd. I will have to look for a broadcast sheet.

When are you painting it orange and adding an 01?

I`ve done this for years. Usually, I have no way of getting them and pass them on to someone who can. Bought this one off from Craigslist a hr away. It will be a nice day driver for a year or so until I get everything needed to install my stroker. rearend, springs, tranny/converter, K member and cooling system.

kikgas01

Gave up this car for the 66 PLUS the exhaust, all brakes, fuel tank, fuel pump, water pump, belts, tires, tune up and oil change and what ever else it needs to make a good driver. I did ok on it. I had quite a bit in the pro-street car.

PocketThunder

NIce 66!  I almost bought one of those for my first car.

kikgas01

It was lol! Bought it in Farley Iowa.

Steve P.

Wow!! That car needs WAY more work than you want to do.. All the hidden rust and those terrible deep scratches... I don't know.... Maybe I can help you out though. I need something to teach my grandkids on, so I might be willing to give a few bucks for it!!!!   :D

Really I can't believe how straight it is and looking at the floor I'd have to say they are the real miles... Nice find and one hell of a nice new beginning......

Thanks. The radio delete plate is the first thing going back on lol...

TiMopar

That is very cool, be nice to it  ;)

kikgas01

Sadly, I`m having a reality check and should probably just concentrate on my 69 Charger and don`t need 2 projects..... It sure looks like it will clean up good. I just can`t afford 2 right now.... I should be putting the money in my Charger.........

The70RT

Doesn't look like much of a project unless you turned it in to something else. It would be my daily driver as is, what's in it for an engine? I understand your situation, if you can flip it for a good profit then I would maybe do that. If your gain would be minimal I would keep it, depending how much $$$ you paid for it too I guess  :shruggy:  in other words if you stole it I would hang on to it.

kikgas01

I traded a pro street Zephyr for it..

kikgas01

I will end up losing money on it...

Steve P.

Maybe not.. Take some really clear pics of it and post it for sale in the FOR SALE area... Just as you wanted it other will too!!  Hell, I wish I had the money. I would be there with trailer in tow.....  :2thumbs:

Thats right I read that... duhhh. I guess if you keep it in the condition it is the value will only go up. I think in the long run you will be ok.
