I've often thought about putting a turbo diesel in a charger.  Maybe I'm nuts, but it would get killer MPG and tons of torque. :P Don't kill me, it has just been a thought..................

Those are a little on the heavy side aren't they. I would rather put a Cummins in there sideways first.  ;)

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Hey don't laugh,I've heard  that somebody has a diesel dragster that does 190 mph.As far as a Cummins in a B-body,send me pictures when you get it done.

I'm not sure about the diesel idea, maybe a twin turbo cummins ho. How about a hybrid Charger for those that like muscle but want to hug trees? My idea of a hybrid: an iron Hemi backed by an aluminum Hemi????:drive:

It would never fit. And its a 7.3 powerstroker at that.

See Andy, it's not the bong.  These guys have found some of the brown stuff from Woodstock.
Seriously though, it would make for an interesting hot rod project.  It'd be a boring hobby if all we did was try to over-restore cars to original or chnage them into GL's.

I really hate to say it, but I LIKE it! It's hard to devise a unique idea nowdays, but I think it's safe to say you have done it.  :yesnod:

Arthu®

I dunno about a B-body but the new 4.0 twin turbo diesel V8 by Audi should fit very nicely in an A-body. Maybe you could even make it a quattro that would be nice.

I'm a big fan of diesels, skip, but you don't want a 7.3....I'd drop a VW 5L V10 TDI in it....330hp but 510ft-lbs of torque!  Woo-hoo!

Cheers,
