These pics are from 2007 at my friends shop. He was storing this car for a short peroid for his friend. He told me this car was assembled new in france. It has some cool options. It is basically a 340 cuda in barracuda trim. The speedo is in K.P.H

interesting stuff ,  , thanks for posting  :coolgleamA: :2thumbs:   nice looking Cuda , heard about  these cars missing the first 5 digits on  vin tag before , think its because these cars were partially assembled &   , then shipped over seas to Chrysler in France , Belgium & Sweden or one of them Scandinavian countries ,  then finish assembled with what ever options the customer wanted ,  challengers were the same too ,  these were different to the exported cars ,
not 100% on all the facts & details just going by memory ,  stuff i've read long time ago ,

Wow i learn something new every day on here.

Hi,

the only plant in europe that assembled E-Bodys was the Rotterdam (Nekaaf) plant in the netherlands. All others mostly built A-Bodys. This car belonged to a friend of mine. It was built in Rotterdam, NL and sold new in switzerland. Due to that it was sent to "Automontage Schinznach" another Chrysler Plant in europe. They made some modifications to the car, installed the plague and delivered it to their customer. Car had several owners in the last years and was even for a short time in the US. It is now in the netherlands.

The correct explanation for the VIN was already given: Car was shipped as a loose assortment of parts (not all but most). They were empty shells and at the time of production nobody knew if it will get a slant six, a 318 or a 340 engine. Due to that the first digits of the VIN are missing. Just after production they knew what it is (BH23H in this case)
