Of course! but I am partial...My car was green so I went with Viper Silver when doing the resto

Dude,  your car is awesome!   I've followed the re-birth and its giving me some inspiration!   I've sent pictures out (of your car) saying this is what my car is gonna look like when I get it painted! :2thumbs:

Thanks!

thx!

Keep it Silver. If I had to do it over again it would be silver.

Does anyone have production numbers on how many 440 4speed cars were made in 68?  I thought I heard 2243 but Im not sure if thats correct.   To bad I couldnt find out how many were painted AA1. ;D

It was 2,743.   I inquired this very question to the Chrysler Historical association when I purchased mine in 1986, and I recieved a letter with that number.  Since then, I have seen that number in various places for our  R/T 4 speed combo.   (12/1/12  corrected mistake, not silver R/T 4 speed combo)

How is the Car now.  I know it;s been a long time since I was on here, and don't know if you finally painted it.  I would love to see pics and more of it.  I am still just having an absolute blast racing mine regularly at the track for the next few years before I do a full blown restoration on mine.

thanks for the comps.  I appreciate that.

I would really love to see more pics of Dave's original Charger R/T Silver.

Dave,  Does you car have the bullet type vent knobs, and green vacuum timing delay valve on the intake manifold (only 4 speeds got them)?

thanks,
Greg.
