All this GL talk made me think about something I wanted to do to my 68 many years ago, and that is designing your own movie car.  With movie car I simply mean make something recognizable and unique just like the GL, or the Blade Charger or any other movie car such as KITT, the Coyote, Doc Brown's Delorean.  You get the idea.

I think a little contest would be fun.  I don't expect anyone to actually redesign their car but we can do this with photoshop or something like that.  Heck, apparentyl someone on the board is good with paper and crayons so that works as well!   

We could make a few categories but that may complicate matters so I propose we design whatever we want, be it a Mad Max style Charger, a demon Charger a la 'The Car' or something totally messed up in the style of the Batmobile, sky's the limit.

Would this work? A random pic of the internet years back. It would be a movie sequel "Wheels of Terror 2". You know how squwls are not as good as the first one so this Charger is less intiminating, no bashed hood but still has no grilles and this time on headlights so it cannot be seen at night. Scary!!!!!!!!!!!!
