i've only met a couple of Helicopter pilots that were NOT cocky, it must be in the training

Helo pilots tend to be a lot more cocky than even fighter jocks. Chopper pilots feel that since they survive every flight in a device with ten thousand different parts all engineered to kill them, cocky is gooood.
