This is how I installed my radio.  The bezel was already hacked when I got it, I just modified it.  Unfortunately, I do not have any before/during photos because I did the mods a few years ago.  Basically, the metal housing that the radio slides into is secured with great stuff expanding foam.  Yeah, I know, sounds silly.  But you would be surprised how solid the whole thing mounts!  As far as the hole, I spent alot of time with a dremel tool and then used epoxy putty around the edges to get the right contour...

Looks good. I have a few extra bezels that are already cut that I might do that with too.

Good idea! Radio is missing in my car so now I can think how to put suitable radio on place.

I sold a radio delete dash years ago to guy that was goping to install a custom radio. If I only knew then what I know now.

Well its not perfect by any means, and my wife's first comment was "it looks too new for the old car".  LOL

It sounds good and it fit.  Thats all I care about!

not to hijack this or anything, but what is one of those instrument clusters worth if it's not all cut up or cracked?
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....
