Tomorrow is going to be an emotional day.... Good and bad!

Right now, I'm REALLY nervous driving a 1/2 ton pickup with a 24' trailer!  Even the place that I rent the trailer from, thought I was nuts!  :eek2:  We'll see how "Ford Tough" this truck is.

More to come. :2thumbs:

I agree, you'll be fine.  No land speed records will be broke but like I always say ......I'm in no hurry when in tow.
I'm presuming you have a brake controller?     :icon_smile_big:

I hope there's plans to get another Charger.  It would stink if everyone on here didn't own a Charger.  Seems like a lot of us are giving them up lately.  I predict it's going to get worse. :icon_smile_dissapprove:

The 5.4 F150 will pull that car and 24' enclosed fine.   It's not the truck to do that kind of work every day.   It will definitely work the truck, but it's not unsafe either.

Why do we think that?
I don't see the US economy getting any better.  I just hope that everyone keeps their jobs or whatever paychecks so they can keep thier cars.

I think he just sold it so that he can get something else.  But, that don't sit true with some other people.

1970Moparmann

Yesterday was a LONG day.   The truck did great :2thumbs:

It was a weird couple of days for me.  Even my neighbors were shocked that I sold the Charger because I would always say "This is my baby, and I'll never sell it".   Well, as someone on this board told me, sometimes you have to let go of something you really like to get into something else.  You know who you are. :icon_smile_big:

It was a kind of strange deal.  I sold my car to a member  :2thumbs: (will keep quiet until he pipes up), and purchased my "new car" from another member (will keep quiet until he pipes up).  By the way, #2 took my money to get another car. :2thumbs:  Us Mopar people are freak'in nuts!

The car went to a good guy!  Have fun with it. Congrats! :2thumbs:

I agree. :2thumbs:

With the trifecta that we did, it was a little nerve racking yesterday.  Rex was driving his new Bird home and saw a Plum Crazy 70 RT going East on an open trailer.  He called me, I called Paul, and a few hours later, Paul let me know that his wife confirmed the car is in the garage and all is good.  We were all a little worried about the car.

I'm confused...? but it sounds like you sold a Charger and got a Superbird!!  I'll take that trade :D

Btw, which Paul got the Charger?  I loved that car.

I know who, been talking to him for a while about Mike's car, he's a new member.  Glad it worked out Mike, when Paul told me how it all happened I was surprised it went that smooth.   :2thumbs:

I'm going to let Paul start the topic on this, he's traveling right now, but it's his place to start a new thread and bragg about his baby.
