I umderstand what you're saying.  I guess I just figured that one would suffice, otherwise where do you stop?  A stikcy for fastback builds, a sticky for 70 Six Pack builds, a sticky for 69 Hemi builds?  That's all I was thinking. :shruggy:

No need for a "Sticky" fellas, just stop hatin. We already have a "Special" section dedicated to the "Holy Grail" wing cars. I guess someone hated on those too? No need to throw fun lovin' GL owners into that kind of category. For we don't "Hate" on purists when they want every single number/sticker/paint texture/door gap/OEM metal/date coded part to match. For we can see that side too.

Just sayin' here, but I can't STAND freakin' white letter tires ona GL, but I'm not gonna start a whole thread about it.

There have been worse threads started about things dumber than this.  Feel free to.  I suggest a poll

All polls do is take a "Snap shot" of what's cool at the time.

If over 80% of the Nation voted/approved of tax hikes to pay for spending, then all that poll tells me is there are wayyy too many stupid people.
Same with any thread regarding the GL. Never ends well.

My reply was made after this sentence made by Cooter.  I haven't called you dumb cdr nor do I have a reason to.  As far as having a GL specific section, I'm still up in the air on that one.  I think it is a large enough niche to have one, but where do you stop.  b5 blue guys will want a section, R5 red guys will want a section. Manual trans guys will want a section.  It goes on and on. Maybe this site is perfect enough the way it is.  Dunno, but I'm always up to suggestions, just like the mods.

Ghoste

I agree.  I can see the aero guys having a separate place and it certainly isn't because anyone was "hating" their cars.  It's a specialized niche but it also draws in Plymouth and Ford aero car fans.  A Daytona wing car fan is quite typically also a Talladega fan etc.  As for the rest of us, I like just having a big ol' Charger forum.  Separating us may minimize the squabbling but it won't do much to promote a little learning.

JB400

On a 2nd note:  Have you checked my avatar lately?  Why would I post a negative comment about a car that I like?  That would make me look dumb.  Well, dumber at least :smilielol:

on a special note i have been called much worse

lets just say that a gl section was made where they would not get such negative response,i think it would help this charger forum as a whole, maybe members from other forums, more used parts bought & sold, :shruggy: :shruggy: ether way, THIS IS the best CHARGER SITE ....

After giving it some thought, I think that I would be in support of a GL section on the board. There are a lot of GL questions that get asked over and over that would be well suited to stickies in a dedicated section. I think that a dedicated section would be an overall improvement to the forums.

After giving it a thought,  I think a GL section would be more appropriate as a tech area.  It is just paint, pushbar, wheels, and a set of air horns.  Everything else is just charger.  As far as a discussion board, no.  A tech board to locate these items would make it easier on people.

We got our pushbar from the Chryslers at Carlisle show. It was the last piece we needed. Under $300.00, it was welded and ready to bolt on. In fact, we used the two existing bumper bolt holes to match the bracket. FInished it off with a couple of crown nuts. Looks really nice!

I should add, we used a sliver of an old mouse pad (remember those) to isolate the bar from the bumper.  :Twocents:

I'm surprised there is as much interest in it as there is.

Your pushbar is a Smith Brothers bar made from the same Jig that AJ Thrasher made them in for Warner Brothers. They are the onlyones that make the bars that way you describe...

Cooter

Mine was made from a Toyota truck brush guard. Welded and shortened, but unbolts from the front bumper using "Clamp" style brackets.

Mine was made by moparmanjim.   I'm serious about that.  He was making them and selling them back in I believe 2006.  He actually did a good job on it. Think I paid $150 or $175 for it.    :shruggy:
