Replaced the noisy compressor on my sons z28 . How do you jump it to get the compressor to run? I vacuumed it down the started adding freon. The compressor came on for a while then back off It's only 60* in the garage and I was trying to polish off a couple of 12 once cans of r134a.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Jump out the low psi switch to get the compressor to run

To do this properly you need A/C manifold, you have to monitor your low/high pressures

L.P. switch has three wires and makes the check engine light come on when jumped,  but not clutch. Jumpered the relay and that worked . Got it charged , then the shrader valve leaked.  :brickwall:

Thanks for the replys.

cdr

on some of those you also have to clear codes to get the compressor to come on
