A buddy just picked up the same motor, locally, for $500 complete from top to bottom SUPPOSEDLY running... He won't know for a couple of years...

Seems like a lot for just the block but I really can't speak towards what he has into machining and installing the billet caps.

All I can say is you'd better hope he has all the parts he says he has and they're in good shape because from what I've seen they're very hard to get parts for. Internal parts are bad enough but brackets, pulleys, etc., can be really hard to find. And it's hard to tell by the way the ad reads if $750 gets you just the block or it and all the parts he's collected too.
