70 Charger RT

Here's a pic of what it used to look like and again now.  Still have a ways to go.  It should be ready for spring (knock on wood).

I looked at a 70 back before I purchased what became Black Betty that was similar .... white /  black vinyl.  R/T , auto,  rusted the F out.  I passed at the $7K he was asking.  I might have paid about $4K I think.   He declined my offer.  Oh well.  I wanted the 69 anyway.

Yes V 6B.  I found the build sheet under the drivers bucket springs. 601 build date.

Some of you may know the story.  My older brother bought the car new in Sept 1970.  I got my drivers license in 1972 driving this car.   He sold it in 73 and we got it back in the family about 5 years ago.  It's a keeper.
