73 340 cam/lifter question

Is the 73 340 a flat hydraulic tappet cam engine?

Can it be converted to a hydraulic roller cam?

I have seen 318's and BB's do this, but not the 340.

yes ti was originally a flat tappet hyd cam
& yes you can convert to hyd roller system or just swap in a 87-92 LA hyd roller block

Thanks again, does anybody know if you can buy a kit to do the swap?

Car is a numbers matching, so I would like to keep the same engine and I am going with Edelbrock Performer heads.

Lunati should have a cam & lifter kit as will other companies but lunati has just created a line of VooDoo hyd roller cams for street use 
I would rcommend Smith Bros for the pushrods ,
PRW is an option for stainless roller rockers
