 YES he is thinks it is a 2BARREL??  was asking why a small carb on big block,4speed??   well i found a black 70 daytona  clone for sale but 35k would put me in bad money spot for few years and have to sell off most everything else i own. after 13 yrs kid support,not looking for more yrs to pay off a toy.

     should let the wing dream go and fix and enjoy my 67 belvedere ragtop and put my 68 stamped 440 in my 67 belve 2dr post and have some fun with that toy??????????????????? :2thumbs: my 67 post was started before divorce and is up high was going for old 70es look,,,old school,have slots or torque thrust for it. planned red,white an blue.

I would be going the 67 Plymouth with a 440 in it route.

The guy sent me the VIN (XP29H8B304556) and included the following, "I got the car loaded onto my trailer and home. It is rusted beyond repair. (no floors, frame rails, trunk floor etc). I am leaving the big  parts on for a few more days so i can get a title from dmv. Let me know if your interested in  the 'shell' (with title) or any parts."

It's one of the 259. :2thumbs:

  got lots more pics all rust an beat to hell. he did not put rear in to load and ripped floor and back of car up more. thing is beat and rotted,i passed pics to a guy ,but iffy if roof is worth saving.

           when louding on trailer it peeled back the floor and pulled afew inch gapp between pass fender and door at bottom. not sure if i wood even drive 1 hour too check it out??  looked at a 73 se  SATURDAY lot more car ,less rust, in town an cheaper .        BUT I WANT A 68 -70 FOR DAYTONA ,NASCAR RACE TRIB TOY?????  oooh well maybe next decade........
