I Got To Ride In An Ambulance....

On Friday, November 9th, 2012 .....I collapsed at work that morning, around 8:30am...left leg & arm were numb...got free ride to hospital via ambulance with sirens & lights going.

Got more blood drawn again, had MRI & brain scan as well (all brain cells missing)....long story short, Doc thinks I had a seizure, but he's not sure what caused it. I could not talk until around noon....I got an appointment with neurologist to get an EEG scan. I don't remember much about that day. I remember going to work, but I don't know which route I took to get there.

I'm still a bit fuzzy about what all happened that day, ....but I'm sure I will know all they did when I get the bill in the mail

I hope you get it tracked down to a specific reason -- not knowing has to be tiresome.  In California you also would lose your driver's license cause doctors are mandatory reporters to the dmv of any lack of consciousness.  Good luck, Kim.

I had one of those rides once for loosing 3 units of blood cause my blood got too thin while using diet pills, and I had a hemerage inside one of my sinuses. Lost all the blood through my nose. I hardly remember it as I was getting light headed by the time they got there. Best wishes that you get well soon.

I too got a ride in an abulance a year & a half ago after getting some severe burns. Not fun. I wish you good health.

Damn, hope they find the cause soon. Just lay low and get better. That makes my emergency appendectomy on Halloween seem relatively insignificant.

I'm having issues completing sentences, I get tired real easy now, I cannot walk heal to toe like cops make you do when suspected for drunk driving.

I have an appointment with neurologist at end of December....trying to find a doctor that can get me in sooner

I'm really pissed about the length of time I gotta wait to get in to see the specialist....and that date is for a "consultation" only at the end of the year...I have no idea when my test would actually be...good thing I'm not dieing, yet.

I called my doc on Friday to see if he could give me a referral to see another neurologist sooner than the end of the year, I got another number to call on Monday

I bet if I were someone important, I would have been seen already
