I had the soft brakes, half a pedal issue. O'Reilly's was not happy with me, since I returned a few Master Cylinder's that leaked before and I understand from their point of view. I called them to see if they sold a pump to help get the air out of my lines. They wanted me to take it to people they knew at a garage. I did and the garage confirmed that their MC was bad. I was happy when the mechanic called them and said "Tim is correct, this MC is bad."

So, they sent a new one, I bench bled it and installed it under the eye of the mechanic, it was a good one. Then he got out the power brake bleeder and very little fluid would come out. I had a spare booster and we swapped it. Turns out a spring in the booster that activates the passenger side of the system was bad. I had a bad booster before but it put the pedal at the top and was rock hard to push. Lesson learned..... :icon_smile_big:

Are you talking about the proportioning valve, the booster has nothing to do with the passenger side or driver side.
