i have a 69 charger with b31 and b51 on the builsheet-i have b51 on the tag but the car doesn`t have a booster on it.  it has a master cylinder against the firewall-how do i know if ever had a booster. is there anything different between a boosted master cylinder rod to the brake pedal and boostered rod to the brake pedal-please help me determine why it had originally- the car is so unmolested that i doubt it was removed.
all the best

Hi Frank.  Yes there is a bell crank linkage setup attached to the pedal for a power assisted brake.  manual brakes would only have a single rod attached to the pedal.

heres a shot of the linkage on a power booster
