Hi everyone,
I know this has been done may times....heck I got the idea from this sight.
I'm relocating my rear bumper on my 73 Charger.
I have the 1972 rear brackets.
The bracket holes holes won't line up with the bumper holes unless i remove the lower rear bumper reinforcement bar that runs from side to side.
The 73 brackets are made to fit over (step over)  this bar at the lower bolt hole at the end of the bumper.  The 1972 brackets are not designed to do that.
Before I modify/cut/drill anything to make it fit.....Did the 71/72 rear bumper even have the reinforment? should I use it or lose it?
Any lessons learned?
Thanks! :yesnod:

I left the bar out (no plans to ever use the bumper jack)
