Don't lie, you'd drive it:

I'd paint it a High Impact color before I'd drive it. And tint the windows.

I like the current wagon too, I suppose had the first Magnum been a wagon like that Richard Petty could have switched to GM a little sooner?

Heheh for the record I wasn't knocking Magnums, was just an appropriate title :)

Seriously though, strip all that cladding off, paint that thing Plum Crazy, and throw a set of TorqThrusts on it... it'd win 'most original' at mopar shows.

On that note... wonder if any of the RR/Sebring front parts would swap to the wagon?  Anyone have a spare six pack laying around?   I believe I might have to do some shopping :)

About the only thing that swaps is the side markers. Someone would have done it a long time ago otherwise.

Now imagine hanging a Gen 3 Charger nose on a Coronet wagon.

Now, if you took one of these and added some of the musclecar jives to it, but left it as an economical cruiser, would it make family vacations more enjoyable?  I'm talking more about getting there, not just the destination.

Don't ask me why, but I did go on autotempest and look for early 70's Satellite wagon, then I came to my senses.

Wagons are making a rise to popularity lately. Especially the big block, 4spd ones.
