How on earth is it possible that with all the things going on around the world (so much happening), that trivial shit like the fact that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are    getting together again for Thanksgiving can even be classed as news worthy.
I find it utterly extraordinary that the news channels would  imagine for one minute that that's the sort of news I want to hear.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Fred, come closer to the screen,,,, closer,,,, closer, it is what you want to hear,,,,,, it is what you want to hear ..........close your eyes,,,,,,, take a deep breath,,,,,, say, it is what I want to hear .......it is what I want to hear.

Now get away from the screen, your breath stinks.

The media just uses the celebrities to cover up all that's bad in the world.  Personally, who gives a darn how they live their lives.  If you do, your just envious of them.

Now Skip, you can get a drink later, you have chores to do

Fred, you will never get "real news" from corporate media, it's a conflict of interest.

I see your point Bob.

The other thing that gets me going is, we have current affairs programs where they bring the same stories over and over. Oh, they allow a couple of weeks to go by before they do and they've been slightly re arranged so as to fool people but they're the same old bs stories, things we all know anyway like how petrol prices have risen. Are they just too lazy to find stories that a worth while or are they financially hard up? And now they're so laid back that at the end of every show you hear......."if you have a story to tell contact us at blah blah blah". We have to bring the stories to them, they can't be bothered finding them for themselves.
