Did he ever end up selling that thing?  It never got picked up by Coke for promos as I recall.

I haven't seen anything since 2010. :shruggy:  Maybe it got put back to stock or ended up in a private collection somewhere.  He might have even kept it, stuck in a garage, waiting to be discovered again

A video was posted showing off 6-2-2011. There's nothing at the Hodge Restorations website. I can't find any other info.

Oh the puns.

I was sad that Coke never picked them up as a promo tool. Beautiful car though.  :2thumbs:

It was a little puzzling too that they didn't.  It seemed an obvious thing.

Maybe they looked at it from the point of view of "Why buy a cow when you can get milk for free".   :scratchchin:

Could be, we also don't know what each side considered a fair arrangement either.

bakerhillpins

Good point!   Still think the car is smokin though!   :drool5:

I think it comes down to "What would Coke do with it?"

Ghoste

The same thing they do with all of their other goofy promotional crap, whore it around for awhile and then get rid of it.  They could tour it around to car shows and motorsport events and then have some kind of contest to get it off their hands.

Dino

That car is really well done.  Apart from the paint job I love the grille emblem and gas cap.

Maybe I should do a coffee Charger!

Really?  You don't like the paint?  :scratchchin:  Ok, it's not something that I would put on my car but I think they did a marvelous job.  :Twocents:

Got a pic of the grill emblem? I didn't see that. Have to do more diggin.

Oh no, maybe I worded it wrong.  I meant I love the grille emblem and gas cap on top of the paint job, I think it's great!

The grille emblem is visible in the video.  First shot of it actually.

I love that car, it shows how well billboards could look on a 2nd gen Charger.

chargerboy69

I love that car.  Would I do that to mine. . .nope.  But it sure does look cool.

Kinda hard to read, looks like $35,000.00 . . . I do not think it is out of line for that car.  But it is going to take a special person to buy it.

Unless they plan on stripping it and repainting it.  :o

Wow, that is pretty unique.  Can you imaging the sloshing that trunk would make when you took a hard corner at high speed?   :icon_smile_big:

At least you could say that you car's trunk was full of coke, and not be accused of, shall we say, "trafficking" anything!   :D
