Picked this up on eBay just now.    Pretty much all original with a rust-free tub and a 258.   CJ-7 and 2nd Gen Charger pretty much cover my bucket list, not counting exotics.   Merry Early Christmas to me!  Now I can hang out with all the AMC guys at Mopar shows, lol.

Nice...plan on repainting it like Daisies?

Not unless Daisy came in the paint can with it :)

Yeah I've wanted a CJ-7 since I was a kid.   There are some models of a vehicle that are the 'classic' example of that ride, and the CJ-7 to me is like the 2nd Gen Charger of Jeeps.   Just perfect :)

That is sweet but I would prefer Daisy's Road runner.  Come to think of it, I would prefer Daisey :nana:

Just picked this up today finally.  I couldn't believe when I crawled underneath it and the tub and frame were really, truly rust-free.   The guy said it lived in a garage most of it's life.    Original 258 ran like a watch and I've driven it 4 hours north with no problems other than the fact that driving a CJ at 70 in traffic is... interesting.   It's gonna get front bushings all around at it's first stop.

Now the seat covers, yech, different story - had Mildew on them from sitting.   Good thing they're only 200 bucks.   In fact, it's ridiculous how much cheaper Jeep parts are compared to anything I've bought for my '68.  You can get fenders for 200 bucks too.    If Chargers were this cheap to get parts for I'd have 4 of them.

At least I have something to tide me over until I get my '68 all purtied up :)
